He was actively involving in socio-cultural activities from his early childhood. He was founder Secretary of Kairali Balajana Sakhyam, Perunna, Kavitha Arts and Sports Club, Changanacherry, and Kalpana Film Society, Kannur. He was also founder Treasurer of Maruthankuzhi Residents Association.

He was editor of Public Relations Reporter, a registered Research Journal devoted for research in PR, Advertising and Media studies. He was Executive Editor of Industrial Business Mart, a B2B magazine published from Bangalore.

He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), New Delhi. He was Secretary of ISTD Trivandrum Chapter.

He is member of Society for Animation Studies, the international professional body of researchers in animation.
